COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures

Before your Appointment:

  • You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms by telephone/email when you book your appointment.

  • If you have tested positive for or have symptoms of COVID-19 including a fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, please contact us in advance to let us know and please do NOT come in for your appointment.

  • Please advise us if you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19; please do NOT come in for your appointment.

  • You will need to come alone if possible to minimize the number of people in the clinic at once. Children and those needing assistance may have one companion who will also need to be screened.

  • Appointments will be staggered to maintain physical distancing between patients.  Since there is an increased time to turnover treatment rooms allowing aerosols to be cleared and disinfection, we have less flexibility for scheduling appointments; thus, we will be seeing less patients each day.  Please be mindful of this as we return to being operational.

At your Appointment Time:

  • When you arrive to the office, the front door will be locked.  A doorbell has been installed to the left of the door, please ring it when you arrive and a team member will greet you.

  • Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.

  • You must wear your own mask at all times (except during treatment).

  • Non contact body temperatures will be taken upon entry (a hot/cold drink consumed immediately prior may affect this).

  • You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon arrival and at the completion of your appointment.

  • You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms when you arrive for your appointment and escorted to your treatment room or the reception area.

  • We will streamline check in and check out procedures to ensure physical distancing.

  • If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms in the 14 days following your dental appointment, please call the office.

  • We will be reviewing and updating protocols regularly during this time to keep you safe and minimize risk while performing necessary dental treatment.

  • Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these uncertain times together.
